Cranchi’s lineage runs from Giovanni Cranchi’s wooden boats on Lake Como to advanced composite yachts built in the company’s own facilities. Through six generations, the family has combined precise construction with an evolving expression of Italian design.

A brief history

1870

The workshop is registered

Giovanni Cranchi formally registers his Lake Como craft business to build wooden boats.

1932

From workshop to yard

The founder’s grandson moves the business to Brienno, expanding the workshop into a true boatyard.

1970

Space to innovate

The Monzino family joins the business and the yard moves to Valtellina, opening the next chapter in production and technology.
